Seven-time platinum recording artists Hall and Oates are credited for being the inventors of the music genre rock 'n' soul. Daryl Hall and John Oates first met while attending Temple University and have been unstoppable ever since. The duo is best known for their six No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 including such singles as "I Can't Go for That," "Private Eyes," "Maneater," "Sara Smile," "You Make My Dreams" and "Rich Girl." The dynamic twosome boasts the honor of being 2003 inductees into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
